Shannon & David's Wedding : What a gorgeous couple! What a beautiful fall wedding! What a romantic story! Shannon and David had all the elements for a spectacular autumn wedding. Chocolate and crimson accents,a fall leaf theme and a gorgeous, sunny day were all part of the palette for this unforgettable day. Family and friends gathered at Greenwood United Methodist Church for the ceremony. The guests were delighted to witness a video of the couple and their lives a part and together. When selecting the venue, Shannon and David knew exactly where they wanted to hold their reception! Just two years ago Shannon and David met at a wedding at Valle Vista Country Club. Hosting their reception there would be so much fun and so romantic. Indeed it was! Kudos to DJ Rob Gaskill with DJ MasterMIx for keeping the guests delighted and dancing all night. Thanks to Shannon and David for letting Kim King Smith Events, LLC be a part of their special day.

Jenn & Jason's Wedding : Jenn and Jason were a delight to work with. The wedding ceremony was at Jenn's father's church, Immanuel Lutheran. Later guests met at Chateau de Pique Winery for the reception. This was the first large event for the new winery. Over 550 guests were seated under the enormous outdoor tent for buffet, music and dancing. Beautiful flowers, wonderful wine and a host of friends were all elements for many memories. Randi and Ben's Wedding : An apprenticeship with Master Bridal Consultant, Teddy Lenderman of Bearable Weddings by Teddy Kim King Smith Events, LLC is constantly striving to seek continuing education and stay attuned to the newest ideas in wedding planning. Kim had an awesome opportunity to apprentice with Master Bridal Consultant Teddy Lenderman. There are only 30 Master Bridal Consultants in the world, and Teddy is one of the select few. The Terre Haute wedding had all the glamour and glitz Teddy's bridal reputation has. Held at the historic Indiana Theatre, the movie themed wedding was adorned with red carpet, bright lights, papparazzi, a personalized marquis and "oscar" awards for the bridal party. Working with Teddy and her assistant, Jeanne, was a true pleasure as we "directed" and "produced" an unforgettable performance, fit for Hollywood. Best wishes to the stars, Randi and Ben.

Kim and Melanie were able to work together to create a wonderful day via emails and telephone calls. Melanie knew exactly what she wanted and the wedding team was able to deliver. The country garden reception was beautiful! "Planting" a tent over Melanie's mom's garden was a unique touch that everyone loved. Jessica and Leonard's Wedding : Jessica Epps and Leonard Patterson, lead vocalists for Indy's #1 band , The Living Proof Band (named by Indianapolis Monthly and Nuvo) called on Kim to make their wedding reception "top billing". Jessica looked like a princess and Leonard was so handsome! This couple has worked together for years and are so in love!!! Since the band is always up late, they sleep late. Leonard 's dream was a breakfast buffet wedding reception and he got it! He and Jessica were so excited to surprise their guests and have an evening that they could enjoy and leave the "performance" to Kim.

Courtney and Scott's Wedding : Scott and Courtney were an absolute delight to work with. From the first moment we met, we connected! Helping Courtney with her wedding was a true privilege. Both she and Scott had so many great details. First having the ceremony at the State House Rotunda was gorgeous! Courtney's Aunt Nancy, a judge, was the officiate. The reception was held at University Place. Jane Whisman, catering manager, and her assistant, Allejandro were splendid! Courtney and Scott surprised and wowed everyone with their first dance! Not even the wedding planner knew of their plans to give a performance better than Dancing With The Stars! Andrea and Ben's Wedding : What a gorgeous day and wonderful celebration! Andrea and Ben were married at the beautiful Southern Dunes Golf Club. (A perfect setting for our soon to be professional golfer, Ben)Sunny skies, beautiful rippling,water and lovely breezes were the background for this outdoor celebration. Andrea and Ben were such a blessing for me to know and work with. Both Ball State grads, they shared the day with many of their friends that were also as sweet as this couple! Anneliese and Brad's Wedding : Anneliese and Brad had an elegant wedding celebrating their longtime friendship and love for one another. As best friends for over six years they now are husband and wife. Beautiful shades of cream and latte accented their decor. Clusters of white hydrangea, fragrant stock, berries and curly willow adorned the tables. The cake was gorgeous with tiny edible seed pearls cascading over the tiers. So many details, so much fun! Christy and Damon's Wedding : Christy and Damon's wedding truly was "A Trip of a Lifetime"! Being able to be a part of this wonderful weekend with Weekend Wedding Coordination was an honor for my team and myself. Christy and Damon were fabulous to work with and knew exactly what they wanted. With over 25 wedding party members, it was a rewarding challenge to see their day come to life. This couple are so busy. Christy in pharmaceutical sales and Damon as NBA Event Manager. Needless to say, since I love basketball, I had some fun with Damon. Suzie and Dane's Wedding : What a romance! Suzie and Dane's wedding was a dream come true! This beautiful and sweet couple have been waiting a long time for this day. They met in high school and love bloomed. From high school sweethearts they moved on to college. Undergraduate school and graduate school were no barrier for their goal to be married. Thank you, for letting us be apart of it! Their wedding was so much fun. First, we learned that they were named prom king and queen their senior year at Penn High School in South Bend. We included their crown and banner at the reception with pictures from high school until now. Dane loves trucks and I made sure he got the truck he wanted for pictures. Thank you to Gary Thrapp and G. Thrapp Jewelry for helping to make this possible with his vintage sky blue pickup. Suzie loves pie and we made sure all of her guests got a taste of her favorites; apple and pecan for favors. Beautiful colors of gold and pistachio accented the gorgeous October day and background at The Mansion at Oak Hill. We spent a lot of time on her flower selection and they were gorgeous. The beautiful peaches, golds, and greens created a magnificent display of the season's beauty. Angie and Janet at Bokay floral did a phenomenal job. Special kudos to Deckard Photography for their amazing work. All in all, a very happy ending!

Amy and Scott's Wedding : Amy and Scott were the sweetest couple! Little did we know that we would take a journey together that none of us would forget. As soon as I met Amy and Scott I had the privilege to meet Amy's mom, Bev. Bev was such a neat, classy lady. We hit it off immediately and I loved being around her. Amy, Bev and I took an initial day to interview vendors and do a little shopping. Talk about "unusual" by the end of the day, we had almost all of Amy's wedding planned and we still had 14 months to go!I couldn't believe it, but I should have. God had other plans and he made sure we took care of things when we did. Bev was a cancer survivor and the cancer returned. The wedding was moved up to take place in four months, but Bev didn't make it. All of us were devastated, but we were ready to march on just as she would have wanted! Amy, Scott and I completed Bev's dream and had the most wonderful, elegant wedding for her precious daughter and very special son in law. Amy was gorgeous, Scott was so handsome and the wedding was the elegant affair that Amy and her mom had dreamed of. Thank you for letting me be a part of this very special time. You are both very special people.

Myranda and Nick : Myranda and Nick were the perfect couple. So kind, so much fun, so in love. Just all the elements for the perfect wedding and marriage. The Rathskeller was a great place to hold the reception. The room, the lights, the service were all impeccable. Myranda requested weekend wedding coordination from us.
